Academic Clubs
At JWR Tutoring, I understand the importance of providing opportunities for students to connect with each other. These connections can be used to create great academic experiences. My Academic Clubs help to extend and support learning as well as allow students to explore new educational interests. Socially, students connect with each other, develop leadership skills, and gain social confidence. Above all, students have FUN while learning!

I offer a variety of clubs that appeal to different interests. In short, there is something for everyone! Each club runs for six weeks, once a week. Students will be given a light homework assignment to prepare them for each session. All meetings will be held in a virtual classroom with no more than 10 students present. REGISTER TODAY!

Creative Writing I Club:
Start Date: August 16, 2022
Days: Wednesdays at 2:00 (PT)
Weeks: 6 sessions- Once a week
Duration: 45 min.
Students will write various genres: fiction, nonfiction, journalism, letter writing, poetry, and more. Each meeting will consist of sharing writing, playing games, reading short passages, and discussing our ideas!
